Mills Vision Care

Mills Vision Care has been serving the Myrtle Beach and surfside Beach areas with eyecare needs for nearly 20 years. Our office has strived to be at the forefront of Optometry and with caring for our patients. With Mills Vision Care at Surfside Beach our entire team provides everyone with compassionate professional attention to all who come to see us and trust us with their eye health and we indeed share in your vision of the future.

There are many potential eye ailments and diseases affecting the eyes and vision that can take away vision slowly and stealthily and can become advanced over time without you noticing early on. The change is so slow that unfortunately it can be imperceivable until the vision loss can become advanced and by then the loss can be permanent. Yearly eye exams can detect problems early on and they can be managed and the vision preserved.

The Importance of Vision Care

When you see us at Mills Vision Care for eye and vision care we don’t rush and we check not only the vision, but side vision, eye pressures and ocular health both internally and externally with your eyes.

If you wonder what we are doing during the examinations just ask. If you have questions about your eyes or vision, it is good to write them down ahead of your eye exam or make notes on your cell phone. Many times, when people go to get an eye examination, they try to remember a question that they were going to ask but are unable to recall what it was.
We welcome discussions regarding systemic disease and eye health as well as eye disease topics and concerns.

If you are happy with your most recent eyeglasses and/or contacts it is also good to bring a copy of your prior prescription with you to the examination.
